Why We Started Restory
We're young adults in New York City who couldn't sleep. Not the romantic "city that never sleeps" kind—the lying awake at 3am, staring at the ceiling, knowing you have to be up in four hours kind.
Between deadlines, side hustles, and trying to figure out what we're doing with our lives, sleep became this impossible thing. We tried everything: weighted blankets that were too hot for our tiny apartments, melatonin that left us groggy, expensive sleep masks that did nothing.
The worst part? Most products felt like they were designed by people who'd never actually struggled to sleep. Just marketing and price tags. We wanted something real, something that actually helped, designed by people who got it.
So we built Restory. For stressed, overworked twenty-somethings who just want to sleep better without the bullshit.
Chapter 2
What Makes Us Different
We're not wellness experts or sleep scientists. We're just trying to sleep and survive in one of the most stressful times as you (probably) are.
Every product we carry is something we've tested ourselves during our own 2am spirals. No pseudoscience, no "miracle cures," no influencer partnerships. Just practical stuff that actually works when you're lying there stressed about tomorrow's presentation or your student loans or whatever's keeping you up tonight.
We skip the luxury markup because we know what it's like to be young and broke and just desperately need to sleep. These are products we wish we'd found sooner, priced like we're selling them to ourselves. Because we kind of are.

Our Promise
We're not trying to sell you a perfect bedroom or a miracle morning routine. We're just young people in NYC who got tired of being tired, and figured other stressed twenty-somethings might feel the same way.
Every product we add passes one test: does it actually help when you're lying awake at 4am in a fifth-floor walkup, overwhelmed and exhausted? If it doesn't, it's not here.
We're learning as we go, growing as we go, trying to build something that actually helps people like us rest better. Because being young and ambitious shouldn't mean sacrificing sleep.
